Drummed Bitumen Melting Equipment Features

◆ This product structure adopts cabinet shape. The main components are upper and lower cabinet, lifting frame, operating table, hydraulic device, push frame, scaffolding, escalator, electric control cabinet and so on.

◆ The upper cabinet is box-shaped. Using single or double lane type, the lane can be arranged in a large drum (Φ600mm) or a small drum (Φ500mm) according to different production capacity.

◆ The lower cabinet is a cylindrical box combined type. The box is provided with slag removal ports at both ends.

◆ The internal heat transfer oil part of the box is composed of three parts: the melting group of the upper box, the heating group of the lower box and the slag removal heating group. The three groups of heat exchange tubes are controlled and adjusted separately by the thermal oil gate valve.

◆ The lifting frame is set up on the column, and is provided with a 0.5t electric hoist, and is equipped with a set of rotary jig and a set of bucket jig. Lift the open asphalt drum, turn upside down on the drum pushing platform.

◆ The hydraulic device consists of a hydraulic oil tank, a hydraulic pump and a set of hydraulic cylinder device, the hydraulic cylinder is fixed on the push frame, and the push head is aligned with the center of the lane.

Drummed Bitumen Melting Equipment Operating Principle

The forced circulation of heat transfer oil is controlled and adjusted through the valve, so that the air temperature in the box reaches about 160 ° C ~180 ° C. Lift the open bitumen drum and place it on the push rod platform at the mouth of the upper box, pull the hydraulic cylinder operating handle to make the hydraulic push rod move, and continuously feed the drum into the channel until the channel is filled with bitumen barrels, and wait for each bitumen drum to heat and melt in the upper box for about 45 minutes, so that all the asphalt in the drum is removed.

Then push the full drum into a row again (entering the full drum at the same time, the empty drum is automatically pushed out of the device), and so the operation is repeated.

When the bitumen temperature reaches more than 90 ° C (see the on-site thermometer), the oil can be pumped from the high-low pipe through the insulation bitumen pump, and the bitumen is transported to the high-temperature tank or the use of the site. If dehydration is needed, a circulation pipe is arranged in the lower box, and the high and low bitumen is pumped through the bitumen pump, and the dehydration is achieved by spraying through the circulation pipe.
