Large-Scale Bitumen Storage Tank

CXTCM Large-Scale Bitumen Storage Tank is specially designed for the storage of bitumen. It can consist of one or more large-scale bitumen tanks, plus auxiliary devices such as asphalt pumps, unloading tank, loading platforms and thermal oil heater into a system. The asphalt warehouse can accept asphalt by ship, asphalt by train, and asphalt by truck.

Product Description

CXTCM has been over 20 years since we started to design and build large-scale bitumen storage facility in the early 1990s. Because of different storage capacities, locations of tanks and types of bitumen stored, flexible designs will be provided to meet different requirements. Unit tank capacity could be 100t to 3000t accordingly. With thermal oil heating system, the facility has advantage of quick-heating, temperature easy control, automatically operation, environment friendly and energy saving.

In an Large-Scale Bitumen Storage System, a variety of bitumen can be stored, and the tanks are connected by bitumen pipelines, valves are controlled and switched, and the bitumen can be pumped from one tank to another when there is a problem with one tank; Usually the valve is closed.

Large-Scale Bitumen Storage Tank Details

1- Heating coils

Coils are fixed by layers for step heating to increase the heating area and the heating utilization rate, which ensures uniform and quick heating.

2- Loading system

Two loading system options are available: loading platform and crane loading arms. Crane loading arms will be used on site when the space is tight. Fixed or flexible loading arms are optional.

3- Pipeline system

Pipelines are wrapped by rock wool and covered by galvanized sheet or aluminum sheet to increase thermal retention and improve energy saving. Some pipelines insulation can be done in factory and connected easily with flanges at jobsite to shorten installation period.

4- Thermal oil heating system

The bitumen storage facility can be supplied by horizontal type or entirety type of thermal oil heating system. With fully automatic, thermostatically controlled burners, thermal oil heating system can quickly supply energy for the whole system.
